Free Personalized Services

Stoever Glass & Co., Inc. is a "Self Clearing" firm. We process and clear all or our bond transactions internally, which is more efficient, more flexible and more convenient for our clients. Many firms no longer have the skilled personnel required to provide clearing services and are forced to use outside sources. That is more expensive, much less controllable, and much less efficient. Naturally those extra costs are passed on to their clients in the form of higher prices/lower yields.

In addition to the personal attention and extra support our back office provides, it is also economically cheaper to "Self Clear" than to use an outside clearing firm. Our specialty enable us to lower our transaction costs and these savings are passed on along to our customers in the form of extra yield and lower prices.

Please enjoy the Stoever Glass & Co, Inc., Web page and feel free to call us at 1-800-223-3881 or email us at sales@stoeverglass.com. with any questions or suggestions.

Free Safekeeping Accounts with Check Writing

The Safety and Convenience of a Free Safekeeping Account at Stoever Glass

With a Safekeeping Account, Stoever Glass & Co. holds the securities on your behalf. You retain full control, but all bookkeeping and other functions such as the collection of redemptions, calls and interest payments are handled by us, and your cash balances are kept in a Dreyfus money market account of your choice. You receive statements to evidence both your holdings as well as all trading activity and payments made or received. These statements also include all your Dreyfus money market balances and activity, including check writing.

We use Dreyfus money market funds in combination with our Safekeeping Accounts because of their conservative reputation, very competitive yields and the large variety of money market funds available for our clients.

In addition to the convenience and safety, a Safekeeping Account offers the following advantages:

Insurance - There are several layers of insurance protection for your holdings so you don't have to worry about lost or misplaced certificates.

It is important to remember that all securities held in safekeeping accounts for all banks and broker/dealers in the United States are held at the same place: The Depository Trust Company (DTC) and the Depository Trust Company insures loss of securities on premises up to $650,000,000.

All of our accounts are further insured up to $10.5 million; $500,000 through SIPC plus an additional $10 million per account through insurance purchased by Stoever Glass & Co.

Free Check Writing - You can have free unlimited check writing privileges with your Dreyfus Money Market Account.

Consolidated Statements - You receive a monthly statement summarizing all account transactions including all activity in your Dreyfus Money Market Account.

Automatic Sweep - Interest and other proceeds can be swept into your choice of Dreyfus money market accounts or if you want we can send them directly to you or your bank in accordance with your instructions.

Continuous Supervision - Your Investment Executive is able to monitor your portfolio and provide timely advice tailored to your objectives and needs.

It's Free - Most firms impose safekeeping account charges such as custodial fees, charges for checks and wires, redemptions and even mailing charges in some cases. At Stoever Glass, we have none of these charges.

Protection - These accounts are strictly regulated and monitored by the NASD and SEC.

A Word of Caution Regarding Safekeeping Accounts

There are many different, impressive sounding names for these accounts; but anytime you keep securities and/or cash balances at a brokerage firm, you have a safekeeping / money market account with that firm.

And while these accounts are supposed to be maintained strictly for the benefit of the client, in actual practice, that is not always the case. For many firms there is a dual purpose, because they also try to use these accounts for the purpose of tying up all your funds at one firm, and with it, hopefully exclusive access to all of your business.

So be careful not to allow yourself to become immobilized at one firm. It is not necessary, nor is it advantageous to pool all your assets at one firm. It is in your best interest to have a few safekeeping accounts, particularly with at least one discount broker and with a specialty firm, to take advantage of their specialized expertise, better prices, and more personalized service.

Any Stoever Glass Investment Executive will help you with any questions you may have.

Free Redemptions

Since 1964 Stoever Glass & Co., Inc. has redeemed thousands upon thousands of bearer and registered bonds for clients. This has made us highly efficient in redeeming personally held securities when they are called or mature. To be efficient in this area is not as easy as it may sound, because over the past years, the redemption departments of most banks have changed or have been taken over by competing or merging entities. However we have clients all over the country and therefore we have developed relationships with redemption departments that help us facilitate this service for our clients.

If you care to find out how Stoever Glass & Co., Inc. can help you redeem your physical Bearer or Registered certificates please call us at 1-800-223-3881 or email us at sales@stoeverglass.com.

Investment Advisor and Investment Advisor Sales

At Stoever Glass & Co., Inc. we have helped guide Money Managers, Investment Advisors and Financial Planners like you through the intricacies of fixed income investing. We created the Stoever Glass Advisor Select Group in 1992 to be an excellent source of bonds for professional managers. We realized early on that most brokerage houses treated money managers with between $25 million and $250 million under management like retail clients, and we set about to change that. We offer an institutional style of highly efficient service, execution, and pricing to our Advisor Select clients that far surpasses what most other brokerages offer. The Members of the Advisor Select Group deal with many different professional advisors and planners daily and they can help you satisfy your fixed income demand with consistently cheaper offerings.

We charge no fees for transfer of securities to your existing custodian.

Free Portfolio Analysis: We'll be glad to evaluate your existing portfolios- free of charge. And keep us in mind whenever you have a prospective client with a portfolio that contains bonds. We'll go over it with you free of charge to make sure there are no "landmines" in it. We invite you to use our expertise to help you with your clients.

Free Portfolio Management: The advantage of individual municipals over bond funds is that they are much more flexible and they also yield more than bond funds of comparable maturities (ask for a copy of our free educational report "How to Tell if Bond Funds are Right for You or Not"). The drawbacks are the time spent learning about the municipal bond market, the time creating the portfolio, and the time monitoring it. That is why financial advisors let us help create and track their bond portfolios for them. We have over 35 years of experience in the bond market and we can help you create the portfolio that is most appropriate for your clients.

Free Transfer of Securities: We deal with Charles Schwab, TD Waterhouse and numerous other brokerage houses and Trust Departments on a daily basis. We are experienced in Prime Broker, Trade- Aways, and directed trades which will help you spend less time with trade problems.

A Diverse National Inventory: We inventory bonds in all 50 states, in all block sizes, and every maturity. If we don't have what you need at the moment our trading desk will bid bonds specifically for your inquiries.

Some of the best prices in the Industry: The Advisor Select Group's trading desk will provide you with bonds that are consistently cheaper than what you are accustomed to seeing. We use our experience and existing relationships with Trust's, Estates, and Banks to gain access to a wider selection of bonds than most other firms, which gives us the opportunity to pick up more bargains. We realize that anyone can say they have good prices, but we have the facts to back it up. For more on The Reasons Stoever Glass is Known for Better Bond Prices, please refer to the free report Section of our website.

We also carry an abundant inventory of taxable municipals, agency and Corporate Bonds.

We will be happy to work with you via phone, fax and/or email.
